Starting off life in an originals band originally named Dice but later renamed to Dirty White Trash, Pete’s love for things 80’s rock was clear from the outset. DWT we’re full on “no chill” 80’s rock - think of a budget Racer-X with a bluesy twist.
DWT self-released their debut EP “Life in the Redlight” in 2010. After a brief stint gigging and touring off of the back of the EP album, the group disbanded.
A short while later, and once again driven by his love of all things 80’s, Pete joined Def Leppard tribute act Dep Leppard which he played with across the UK for several years. This later lead to working with a Whitesnake tribute show formed largely of the same musicians.
Pete spent 2018-2020 as a dep in many of the bands on the local circuit including Yellowhouse, Illicit, the Runaways and the Heaters.
Fast forward to 2021, Pete currently plays with the touring theatre rock show Rock for Heroes which raises money for the charity Help for Heroes. This 2 hour extravaganza pays homage to some of the greatest rock bands of the 70’s and 80’s including Queen, Status Quo, Europe, Heart, Van Halen and Whitesnake.V
