This will be my second interview talking to a sufferer/survivor of domestic abuse. Abuse can take many forms and have many levels, from physical to mental, from the destruction of a persons mental wellbeing to financially bankrupting them. Carrie is my partner and has spoken in the past on my stream about mental health and therapy, but will be going more in depth this time into the abuse she suffered in past relationships.
Raising awareness of the reality of what goes on for men and women who have suffered at the hands of an abusive partner I believe is a key part of not only showing others that they are not alone, but to give a heads up on what the signs of a potential abuser may be.
