“Musically I have been singing, playing the guitar (badly) since I was about 14 with my best friend Saffire Sanchez before she joined the infamous Courtesans.

I’ve always enjoyed music and became a performing tart at college where I also did music technology. I then went on go on to study drama and theatre studies and university.

After singing here and there I always enjoyed playing instruments too and taught drama music and media in secondary school before realising my talents for supporting challenging children led me to become a dramatherapist.

I have performed in playback theatre productions playing all sorts of random instruments alongside my fellow music therapy pals.

Now I play in a little reggae trio with my husband and nephew. I guess I’m the percussionist, but I also sing and play an array of quirky instruments too.”

Laura is one of my dearest friends and a kindred spirit in the ways of silliness and flatulence! no doubt the subject of both will rear their heads at various stages during the show :-D Prepare yourself for bants and some soulful singing goodness from her ladyship, as well as her latest venture, drumming!
