Old man but happy man!

Once again i find myself being rather lacking in the “updating my news” department…but hey, life gets in the way and only so many hours in the day for a man to fill with bollocks!

So, whats been happening? Well, i turned 40….so i think that means im entitled to follow through when i fart and wear a selection of hats that make me look like a cross between indiana jones and a cricket umpire?
so nothing new basically!

To celebrate my step closer to the inevitable chasm of death and the fact that i’ve been playing in covers bands for 20 years, i had a little party. Well, i invited 45 musicians to play in a large hall and had a load of friends and family turn up to watch us all make musical tits of ourselves…and it was fecking awesome!

Been a long time since i’ve felt this shiny inside, like when i had laxatives for a colonoscopy, but without the poo. This is an inner glow shininess of pure happiness and appreciation of a life that is blessed with amazing people.
The whole event was filmed and im slowly editing each set together and uploading them to youtube over the coming weeks, so keep an eye out!

This week it will be me and Mr Simon doing our weekly broadcast, filling the webways with our own musical manure like a crop spreader gone awol. Then Saturday im standing in on vocals with my good buddies “sons of southpaw” blasting out some classic rock and pop tunage.
